gosh, it's been such a long time since i've posted on here that i hardly remember how to do it. but i have to ask, where do all you readers come from?!

i haven't advertised my previous 'i have moved' post since september 2010 but it's received 1,262 views and the number keeps growing. my current blog http://nancyknitsuk.blogspot.com/ gets a much wider readership than this one ever did but i'm just curious that people still visit.

oh well, it's always nice to have people read my posts, however out-of-date.

this had me in pieces last night. it is so very, very moving. (as spotted on http://joannagoddard.blogspot.com/)

as mentioned in an earlier post, i'd like to learn to crochet because i think it works better for certain things, like food - more robust, more accurate.

but this blanket confirmed my desire to learn and dottie angel has confirmed it's fine for a beginner - although reading the instructions (which currently mean nothing), i'm daunted. but excited too.

i saw this trailer a while ago but spotted it again and it reminded me how much i'm looking forward to seeing it.

i love this place. you drink, eat or have coffee surrounded by produce available to buy.

visually stunning, delicious food and all very reasonably priced.

speaking of antiques, this is my favourite shop. it is full of the most wonderful english and french antiques.

granted, most of it is stonkingly expensive but it's a lovely space to browse. the staff are really friendly and there is always something little and lovely you can take away for less than £30. they have a really high turnover of stock and, if you're looking for a particular piece of furniture, they will contact you when relevant things come in. definitely the best reason to visit tetbury. that and the amazing pub, trouble house.
